Protec BI-CS 2000 40C

Optical Sorter / Color Detector PROTEC BICS 2000 40C – Stainless Steel

The PROTEC BICS 2000 40C optical color sorter is designed for the inspection, sorting, and automatic rejection of products based on color differences within food processing lines.

The equipment allows for the analysis of the product as it passes through the inspection zone, detecting units, particles, or materials that do not meet the established color parameters. Non-conforming products can be automatically separated from the main flow, improving the uniformity and quality of the final product.

Its configuration with a feeding system, optical inspection zone, and automatic rejection mechanism enables continuous operation on industrial sorting lines.

PROCESS

The PROTEC BICS 2000 40C is designed to automatically inspect the product as it passes through the equipment.

The product is distributed in a controlled manner before passing through the optical inspection zone, where the system analyzes its color characteristics and compares them with the previously established parameters.

When out-of-specification product is detected, the rejection system automatically separates it, allowing the accepted product to continue to the next stage of the process.

This system can be used for:

- Color sorting
- Removal of defective product
- Separation of units outside specifications
- Improvement of product uniformity
- In-line quality control
- Automatic classification
